we continued our circumnavigation of the Snaefellsnes peninsula passing through the town of Olafsvik. It's a quaint fishing village on the northern coast of the peninsula. Obviously the weather remained gorgeous.
These photos were taken in August 2007 mostly with a Nikon D200.
Olafsvik: All over Iceland, there are little churches like the one above, big enough to hold 25-50 folks, set in the middle of nowhere. I presume they serve a dispersed congregation. But whatever they lack in size, they certainly make up for it by being charming.
