At one point we walked from the center of the city to our hotel, a distance of about 3 - 4 miles past a new modern mosque. The mosque, which shared the design of traditional mosques, was beautiful. Richly decorated, it demonstrates that Christianity has not cornered the market on ornate buildings built to the glory of God.
